Who are we? We'll we're the Peace Corps crew headed to Benin in July 2005. We'll be gone two years and 3 months. This blog is us figuring out what in the heck we're doing in the meantime.

Packing? What, you mean I can't just pick up everything I own and take it with me?!?!? What kind of amateur operation is this, anyway? ;)
Packing's going . . . slowly. I'm operating under the philosophy that anything I forget or can't fit can be bought (begged/ borrowed/ stolen) over there.
As long as you don't own more than 70lbs of stuff, you're all set ;)
I'm stalling. Procrastinating. Ignoring the issue. But I probably can't do that for too much longer, can I?
Eh, with my schedule I probably won't even really start my packing until the week before we leave. I'm actually taking an approach similar to Theresa's... less is better. I'm sure people in Benin you know, wear clothes, cook things, and generally survive. We're not falling off the planet entirely.
